Our Philanthropies

Kappa Delta's are passionate about making a lasting impact on the lives of others. Whether we’re volunteering, raising awareness for a local cause, or making a donation, KD's are serving and advocating for their communities across the nation.

Prevent Child Abuse America

Founded by a KD sister Donna J. Stone, Prevent Child Abuse America has been a national philanthropy, supported by thousands of KD sisters, for over 41 years. To date, Kappa Delta has raised over $33 million through collegiate and alumnae Shamrock events across the country for the prevention of child abuse and to build a better world and community where children can grow up confidently in safe and thriving communities.

Girl Scouts of America

Since 1998, Kappa Delta and Girl Scouts have been partnered together to make a difference in the lives of countless girls across the country. Kappa Deltas serve as mentors and volunteers, host confidence-building programs, educational events, campus tours and other activities with Girl Scouts in their communities.

The work we do with PCAA and the Girl Scouts is so much more than just selling cookies or hosting shamrock events; It’s the opportunity to watch families, young girls, and even chapter members become the most confident version of themselves. Service has always been so important to me, it’s so rewarding getting see all the women around me excited to make an impact.
